We even have a legend that says, that in order to discipline his people, a king of the Dacians (yes, the name is related to the car!) had to bring down all the vineyards, so yes, wine was kind of important. Fast forward to the present times, we propose you a city tour that finishes in a place that will introduce you to Romanian wine culture.
After a city tour that will take you to see the highlights of the city like Victory Square, the balcony of the Opera House from where Timisoara was proclaimed free of communism in 1989, Union Square, or the last bastion of the fortress, we will take you to meet the local wines. Produced in vineyards close to the city, these wines gather energies from all over the world and will soon gain attention on the international market. You’ll see, all the big names in the industry like Merlot, Cabernet, or Syrah are here too, only that we will accompany them with the local sorts that try to break the consciousness of every wine lover. So keep an open mind and let your tastes be ready for a big surprise!
